When you look for the best deals for a hotel stay you come across different hotel brands. Different hotel segments, old and newer properties, very expensive and not so expensive hotels. Major hotels allow you to search for reward stays using points. That’s when sometimes the magic happens. You can stumble on a number of really nice properties which require a ridiculously low number of points.
I decided to share with you a sample of properties across all brands and segments.
JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi – 5-Star Hotel

The JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi only requires between 10,000-15,000 Marriott Rewards Points for a Deluxe King room stay. A paid stay at the property retails at around C$265. So yes it is definitely worth using those points for a stay. I would even add that this is a steal.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a brand new property. Located in the north east side of the Petronas Towers, it’s one of the best DoubleTree properties across the Hilton portfolio. But the good news is that it only requires 10,000 HHonors points for a Standard reward room. Getting those points will be quite easy with the current promotions this year. You will pay around $120 in cash for a Standard room with breakfast, which is good deal.

Hilton Salalah Resort

Although the property may have not been renovated in a while, the Hilton Salalah Resort is a great place to unwind away from the rest of the world. Just outside of Salalah, the property is a full-service hotel. You can book a reward night for 20,000 HHonors points! Its beyond a great deal, it’s a steal of a deal. I personally stayed there and I recommend it strongly. If you intend on visiting southern Oman’s Indian Ocean coastline then Hilton Salalah Resort is the place to go. Free airport shuttle service on top of that!

Stay tuned for more properties from around the world that coast so little in points redemptions.
