Warsaw, Poland is a great European destination. I visited the city 2 years ago and it totally charmed me. Great hotels, a bustling restaurant scene and a big cultural offering. Aeroplan offers opportunities to fly to Warsaw from all over Canada. Let’s see which Canadian cities make it worth to fly to.
Montreal-Warsaw reward flight
There is inventory available on Aeroplan for a Montreal-Warsaw trip. As you can see below a redemption flight can be purchased with 75,000 Aeroplan miles and $279.44. The trip has a layover in Toronto. Air Canada does the Montreal-Toronto leg and while LOT takes over the Toronto-Warsaw leg. LOT is the national airline of Poland. It’s part of the Star Alliance which allows it to have codeshare agreements with other members.

Edmonton-Warsaw reward flight
Edmontonians also have access to Warsaw via Toronto. The required amount of Aeroplan is the same 75,000. Taxes, fees and surcharges are slightly lower at $274.05. Although the layover is ridiculously long on Toronto (YYZ) you can always look for a shorter transit.

Vancouver-Warsaw reward flight
Warsaw is also easily available to Vancouver (YVR) for the same amount of Aeroplan miles and taxes as Edmonton (YEG). You can check the other cities below.

Regina-Warsaw reward flight

Winnipeg-Warsaw reward flight

Ottawa-Warsaw reward flight

Toronto-Warsaw reward direct flight

Verdict
I believe this is a good redemption. Warsaw tends to be a more expensive airfare then West European destinations. This Aeroplan redemption makes it very accessible at less then $280 and 75,000 Aeroplan miles. The direct connection between Toronto and Warsaw definitely makes it worthwhile. It’s in the same league as the Istanbul reward flights with Aeroplan for $73.45.
