A generous Hilton Honors transfer bonus

This is a first in Canada. American Express Canada is offering its Gold, Platinum and Cobalt card holders a transfer bonus on Hilton Honors points.

Members can transfer points starting at minimum of 1,000 and in increments of 100. Although it’s a targeted offer the following cards are eligible:

Members must have a Hilton Honors membership number in order to add it into their Frequent Travel Participants programs section.

More Hilton Honors points, more free stays

Hilton is known for it’s sweet spots across the world. Some countries feature low-points reward stays, a travel hacker dream.

Some of the sweet sport countries are Turkey and Malaysia which I have reviewed in detail. China, Poland, Qatar, the UAE, Oman offer great reward stays opportunities.

Also, the American Express Platinum card grants members Hilton Honors Gold status. That makes reward stays even sweeter. Gold status grants complimentary breakfast across all Hilton brands, room upgrade when available and Executive lounge access when upgraded to an Executive floor room.

I will take advantage of the bonus transfer offer. I will transfer 40,000 Cobalt points to Hilton Honors, which will earn me 60,000 HH points. A great summer bonus not to be missed.
